UniFitness Aalborg is located in the center of Campus. The training facilities lies close to the big canteen on Fibigerstræde 15.

In UniFitness we help you get off to a good start. Free of charge, we will customise a personal training program for you, whether you want to lose weight, tighten up or just get in better shape. For we know that with the right guidance, you wil be able to reach the goals you set for your training.

By booking a training program session in our booking system, our instructors will make sure you get off to a good start with your training. If there is no available spots in the booking calendar, try contacting one of the personal program planner's under employees.

 

Team training

Do you want to train with others? Then try one of our training teams.
Vi offer both strenght and cardio training as well as popular group exercises like Zumba, Yoga and CrossFit.

Abdominal




Designed to maximize the workout of the outer abdominal muscles, this machine has two ways of isolating them.

Using the front rollers as foot blocks, you can simulate the abdominal crunch exercise that focuses on the upper abs.

Alternatively, you can use the rear rollers to workout the abdominal part.

The Abdominal machine has a ROM device to limit the range of movement and to vary the muscle group that you want to workout as well as providing easier access to and from the equipment.

Fitted with four different angles, this machine allows you to train the adductor muscles of the thighs, increasing muscle tone without damaging the delicate muscle and tendon groups of the inner thigh.

The exercise is carried out with the back resting against a slightly inclined surface to relieve all pressure on the spinal column.

A pre-load device makes it easy to approach the machine and start the exercise.

 

 

 

Cable column



Multifunctional equipment with which it is possible to exercise selectively and in isolation arms, shoulders, chest, back, gluteus, adductors and abductors.

The machine has a rotary handle and a bar for triceps; besides it offers also the chance to use anklets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chest press



Machine that allows you to train chest muscles from a very comfortable and physiological position.

This machine easily adapts to any type of workout for strength, resistance, and muscle hypertrophy.

Equipped with several upper and lower handles for activating the entire pectoral region.

Machine equipped with converging arms for job optimization.

The R.O.M. device reduces the width of the work angle.

 

 

Chin / Dip Assist



This is a revolutionary piece of equipment given that even less powerful individuals such as beginners, children, women, the elderly or the overweight can do the wide variety of exercises at the bar or the dips at the parallel bars, thanks to the ingenious system that counters body weight.

Subsequently, this weight can be gradually reintroduced when strength increases after training on the machine.

It has an easy-to-use set of steps and safe platform.

Crossover



It is certainly one of the most versatile tools on the market. Very useful for toning the development and strengthening of the muscles of the chest, arms, shoulders, back of the lower limbs and buttocks. Easy to use machine, accessible to all, safe, reliable, silent during operation. Double possibility of coupling for each side with two plate packs. On each side there is a support for the support of the hands covered in non-slip material. Two handles and a rod for the triceps are provided. A tool that is small in size due to its species, elegantly finished, easy to use and very useful, it is indispensable in all fitness centers and in all clubs.

 

 

 

Gluteus kick



Ideal for firming, toning and developing the large gluteus muscle allowing a wide articulation.

Machine equipped with a chest support, padded and adjustable in height, allowing you to maintain the correct position during exercise.

The R.O.M. device completes the machine.

 

 

 

 

Hyperextension 45 degrees



This machine works-out the muscles in the front of the thigh, the vastus medialus and lateralis in particular, that extend the leg by flexing the thigh.

The vastus intermedius is also worked during the exercise whilst the rectus femoris is stimulated to a lesser extent due to the proximity of the intersection points in the seated position; when the seat back is moved further back it is more exerted.

It has an adjustable seat back, hand grips for improved stability during the exercise and a safety motion limiter to prevent over extension.

 

 

 

Lat pulldown



A highly versatile isotonic machine, this piece of equipment is irreplaceable for a safe workout of the back muscles.

It has adjustable leg pads and an angled weights bar.

On request, it can also be fitted with a bar with rotating grips for a more natural workout.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leg curl




This is the perfect machine to tone and build up the muscles on the back of the thighs or femoralischial portion, in a safe and effective way.

Fitted with a R.O.M. device that limits the movement of the leg, this machine can be used in functional rehabilitation to give stability to the knee.

It is also fitted with adjustable padded rollers and the contoured padding specially designed to exploit the optimal workout angle, localising the exercise and downloading the lumbar section of the column.

 

 

 

Leg extension



Machine to exercise the quadriceps muscles in absolute safety and comfort. Equipped with R.O.M. which allows a range of physiological movement susceptible to adaptation to anyone, in relation to one’s articular capacity. 

The adjustable backrest backrest allows to move the pelvis away from the femur and therefore to activate a moderate involvement of the said muscle by means of a pre-stretch.

By appropriately varying the position of the feet it is possible to intervene more selectively on the vastus medialis (extra-rotated foot), or on the vastus lateralis (intrarumatous foot). In these cases it is better to exercise one leg at a time.

 

 

Lower Back



This piece of equipment has been designed to provide an efficient workout of the lower back muscles.

It has been fitted with a R.O.M. device that limits the range of movement of the back, making it suitable for rehabilitative purposes.

With this machine you can work individually on the back and medial-upper scapula-upper arm muscles from the seated position and in almost total isolation from the lower back muscles.

Equipped with indipendent arms, the machine allows a training with divergent trajectory faithfully reproduces the natural capacities of the muscles exercised.

Moreover, movable handles allow workout with supine, prone, and neutral grip.

Machine designed for strengthening the lower limbs with priority function on quadriceps and secondary on thigh flex muscles and glutes.

Suitable for any kind of physical conditioning, it is used in rehabilitation, fitness and muscle toning. 

Fitted with a ROM device that limits the movement.

 

 

 

 

shoulder press



The continuous use of the barbell and the dumbbells in the distension for the deltoid muscles in all its possible variants, is not preferred by the gyms athletes apart. 

The Shoulder press overcoming the drawbacks linked to the articular unbalance allows to work the shoulders in absolute safety, thanks to the adjustment of the machine parts and to the R.O.M.

By positioning the seat at a level that brings the shoulder to the height of the handle and the back forward until a medium elbow retreat due to the retraction of the medial rotators, a correct starting position is obtained in all those cases of good articulation of the shoulders.
